When discussing commercial projects with clients, we get a lot of interest in agile work space design however its always interesting finding out what this means to people as it often means different things to different people. As with most design and office practices, its not a new concept. Agile working has been applied to office design principles since the early 80s in its earlier guise of 'flexible working' but it has developed and evolved over time. Whilst co-working seems to be the new buzz in office design, there is still a lot to be said for Agile Working and many organisations still who could benefit from applying the model to both working practices and work space design.
